On February 20, 2016, the Eighth Yunlin Cup Go Doubles Tournament took place at Lingyin Temple. On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, the tournament was in the theme of ＂clearing the mind and blessing for the New Year＂. Participants included the Director of Sports Bureau of Zhejiang Province Sun Guangming, the Chairman of Chinese Weiqi Association Wang Runan, the monastery supervisor of Lingyin Temple Master Kuoren, and about 100 Go lovers from Wenshu Monastery in Sichuan Province, Baiyun Temple in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, Baoguang Temple in Chengdu, Lingyin Centre for Buddhist and Go Culture, and various Go associations of Zhejiang Province.
