From April 1 to 4, 2016, the 1oth Yunlin Training Course on the Studies of Chinese Ancient Civilization was held as scheduled at Lingyin Temple. Course instructors included Professor Wang Xuetai from Institute of Literature, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, former Professor Li Mingyou from Department of Philosophy, Zhejiang University, Vice-Dean of Hangzhou Buddhist Academy Master Huiren, to name just a few. This four-day training course attracted over 140 traditional culture lovers.

During the training course, instructors lectured on various aspects of Chinese traditional culture, such as interpretations of famous scholars of Confucian classics and carefully selected readings of Buddhist and Taoist classics. Traditional culture lovers from all walks of life gathered together to appreciate and taste the elegance and profundity of Chinese traditional culture.

Since the 1st Yunlin Training Course on the Studies of Chinese Ancient Civilization was held in August 2014, a total of more than 1,500 people have participated and benefited from over 100 classes during ten training courses, which insist on providing free classes to the public to promote the wisdom of Chinese ancient civilization and the essence of Chinese traditional culture. The training courses aim to provide learning atmosphere and communication platform for traditional culture lovers so as to spread the excellent and profound Chinese traditional culture to the public.
