On December 28, 2017, the three precept platforms for ordination held by Tiantong Temple in Ningbo came to eventful conclusion. The Abbot of Lingyin Temple Ven. Guangquan, as the distinguished karmacarya (witness) of the ceremony, was invited by the Sangha of Tiantong Temple to deliver a keynote speech entitled ＂Staying True to the Original Aspiration＂ to more than 300 newly ordained monks. In his speech, he encouraged the Buddhist monks to never forget why they started, strictly observe the precepts, make persistent and hard efforts in the practice of Buddhism, and shoulder the responsibility of promoting and spreading the great wisdom of the Buddha.
