To promote Chinese traditional culture, Yunlin Library of Lingyin Temple joined hands with Chengxiang Tang and set up the ＂book-crossing shelf＂ featuring books on Chinese traditional culture in the store of Chengxiang Tang at the lounge of Hangzhou International Airport. A total of over 600 books on literature, history, philosophy, Buddhism and other topics were donated by Yunlin Library in the hope of creating a reading atmosphere for the general public so that they can, by getting access to books of great wisdom and Chinese traditional intelligence, gain strength when they are in face of disorientation or adversity in the mortal world.

So far, over 300 books have been placed on the shelves and passengers can have free access to reading them in the enchanting store of Chengxiang Tang beside the Boarding Gate B40, T3 Terminal of Hangzhou International Airport.

The store of Chengxiang Tang at Hangzhou International Airport features a public and free reading zone for passengers to luxuriate in books on humanities. It has broken the old pattern of waiting at the airport lounge and created a happy reading atmosphere for passengers to make good use of their time while waiting for the plane.
