On April 3, 2016, over 100 lay Buddhists and Buddhist masters of Lingyin Temple and Hangzhou Buddhist Academy went to the relic pagoda of Master Lianchi for tomb sweeping and ancestor worship on the occasion of Qingming Festival. The commemoration of past venerable patriarchs motivates the Sangha to wholeheartedly work hard on the pursuit of enlightenment and the three practices of Buddhism (morality, meditation and wisdom) for self-interest and altruism.
