On March 7, 2015, the Seventh Yunlin Cup Invitational Doubles Tournament took place at Lingyin Centre for Buddhist and Go Culture of Lingyin temple with magnolia trees in full bloom, exuding a sense of tranquility and Chan wisdom. 

Go lovers from Singapore Weiqi Association, China Academy of Art, Baiyun Temple in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, Lingyin Centre for Buddhist and Go Culture and from all walks of life of Hangzhou and other cities of Zhejiang Province competed in the games and exchanged tactics and strategies with professional Go players such as Wang Runan, Cao Dayuan, Hua Xueming, Mao Yuheng and Zhang Yueran. Venerable Guangquan, Abbot of Lingyin Temple and Chairperson of the Buddhist Association of Hangzhou, inscribed five Chinese characters ＂Jian Qi Bu Shi Qi＂ (meaning ＂The stone that the eye can see is no stone＂) on a tablet for this tournament. He also addressed the opening ceremony with a Buddhist allegory, ＂To understand Chan one needs to feel with the heart rather than conveying with words.＂  

After five rounds of games in two days, the Seventh Yunlin Cup Invitational Doubles Tournament came to a successful conclusion on the afternoon of March 8. During the tournament, the players have had a deeper understanding of the theme ＂The stone that the eye can see is no stone＂: the game of the Go influences one’s mentality Occupying favorable conditions, one shouldn’t be too proud; being disadvantaged, one should remain calm and steady. In the game of the Go, one can learn the wisdom and philosophy of Chan and recognize whom they are actually competing against. By referring to Chan Buddhism during the game, players can see through their own minds at the moment.
